The Aussie Butcher turns 40!

2024 marks a very special milestone for us: The Aussie Butcher is celebrating 40 years of serving Kiwi families the very best in quality meats. From our humble beginnings in a small store in Ōtāhuhu way back in 1984, we’ve grown into a trusted household name. For us here at The Aussie Butcher New Lynn, it’s also a celebration of our own journey. Sixteen years ago we opened our doors in West Auckland, proud to bring the same unbeatable quality, competitive prices and friendly service that our customers have come to know and love.

Over the decades, we’ve built more than just a business, we’ve built a community. Many of our customers have been with us for years, some even since the early days. We’ve seen families grow, shared cooking tips across the counter and worked hard to provide the freshest cuts for every occasion, from weekday dinners to holiday feasts.

To mark this milestone, we wanted to celebrate in true Aussie Butcher style. Throughout the month of May, we offered amazing in-store specials and gave our loyal customers the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including a Limited Edition Hellers Sharp Blacks Knife Set from VictoryKnives and meat vouchers to spend right here in store.
